Quintana Roo, Mexico

At the end of December 2016, I had a few extra days off work for the holidays. I wanted to make some use of these days so I booked a 4 hour flight from Arizona to Cancun. I flew eagerly toward Mexico with one carry on bag, my GoPro, and a mile long list of places I wanted to see. I know what you're thinking...party time! I had a little different plans for my trip; I wanted to see some ruins and break away from the main strip of Cancun's touristy hotel zone. With only 4 full days there, I went to Playa Del Carmen, Tulum, and Isla Mujeres.

Caribbean Cruise

2018 was ended with crossing a new experience off my bucket-list! I went on my first cruise on a small ship with around 200 people on board and visited 6 new places in the Caribbean. This was much different than most vacations I have taken in the past where I am sleeping in hostels or renting rooms out of people’s home, and exhausted from a lot of hiking and walking around large cities. This trip was nothing short of relaxing, I felt like royalty the entire time!
